We're up to quite a bit, and it's likely that if some piece of what we do excites you, then there's a place to get involved. This page is meant to give an overview of some of the different ways of getting involved—if you have any questions, please drop us a line…we could always use a hand

  • sponsors :: If you're excited about what we do and would like to support sprout's efforts through a donation (financial or otherwise), this is the place for you. We pooled our savings to get sprout started, and right now we're relying on donations and proceeds from our programs to keep the lights on. We don't take a salary [yet], and so all help is appreciated. We are a a 501(c)3 nonprofit , and your donations are tax deductible. Head over to our sponsorship page to find out more donating to and supporting sprout.
  • design corps :: If you've got art or design chops, and you're interested in helping us out, we'd love to hear from you . We are always looking for people who can help us out with the design of everything from fliers to websites to our physical space, and even if you've only got an hour here or there, we would love for you to drop us a line .
  • labs :: At sprout, we've got a lot of projects ahead of us which could use some coding and/or engineering. Ranging from software to manage and document our programs to tools for keeping track of and opening up our library and cafe to building a system that lets people find out whether anyone's around at our studios, there are lots of chances to lend a hand for someone excited to build with bits or atoms.
  • evangelists :: A big piece of our ability to reach people and build the types of experiences we're all excited about depends on getting the word out. That can mean fliering, emailing lists, or just telling your friends. If you'd like to help out—especially if you've got ins to a community whom you think would be excited to hear about the stuff sprout is up to— let us know .
  • physical plant :: Our studios are a little unusual in that we are excited to share them to whatever extent is doable, for us. That means that in a lot of ways, we function as a community space. And with that comes a lot of work: keeping things in stock, making sure stuff stays clean, building out the facilities people need, etc. If you're excited to spread the load of all that, let us know .
  • betas :: We often have a version of a flier or our site or some other piece of publicly-facing stuff that we would love to have people put through its paces. If you're up for giving us feedback, spotting typos, and making recommendations, this is the group for you— let us know if you have any questions.
